Questions couples ask
Your website
Do we have to include religious elements?
No. Hindu elements such as the Pillaiyar suzhi or a kula deivam line are a choice, never a default. Malli and Thoranam are faith-neutral designs that suit a temple, church, mosque or hall wedding.
We don’t read much Tamil. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Everything you type and everything your guests need to read is in English. Tamil appears as part of the design: a word in the hero, labels beside your events and a line on your invitation, set in a proper Tamil typeface so the letters join correctly on every phone.
Our Nichayathartham is months before the wedding. Does that work?
Yes. Each event has its own date, venue and guest list. The Nichayathartham is private by default, so only the households you invite to it can see it.
Can we show the Muhurtham window and the Lagnam?
Yes. The Muhurtham is shown as a time window, for example 9:00 – 10:30 AM, with an optional Lagnam and Tamil calendar date.
Will it work for family who aren’t comfortable with apps?
Yes. It is an ordinary link: no app to download and no account to create. It opens on any smartphone or computer, and the text is large and clear.
Can I keep my site private?
Yes. Add a password, and your site is hidden from search engines by default.
RSVPs & guests
How do guests RSVP?
They open your link and answer for each event they are invited to: how many are coming, how many vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, and any dietary notes. It takes about a minute.
Will our guests get emails from pathirikai.online?
No. You share your links yourself, on WhatsApp, by text or by email, so every invitation comes from you and nobody receives messages from a company they have never heard of. Reminders work the same way: your dashboard lists who hasn’t replied, with one-tap buttons to message them from your own phone.
Can different guests see different events?
Yes, on both passes. Invite each household to the events you choose, and they only see those.
Our guest list is in a spreadsheet. Can we import it?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel file, grouped by household. Or keep RSVP open and let anyone with the link reply.
Can a guest change their answer?
Yes, until your RSVP deadline.
The Wedding Pass
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days with everything turned on and no card required. You can publish, share and collect RSVPs during the trial.
What happens if we don’t buy at the end of the trial?
Your site pauses and shows a simple “coming soon” page. Nothing is deleted: your design, guest list and replies are kept, and buying a pass brings the site straight back.
What does it cost?
The Standard Pass is $129, £99, C$175 or A$195. The Premium Pass is $199, £159, C$269 or A$299. Each is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
How long does our site stay live?
Until 90 days after your wedding date, so there is time to share photos and say thank you.
Do you print invitations?
No. Everything is digital, so you can send as many as you like at no extra cost.
