Our Story
Our mothers met at a Saturday Tamil school in Scarborough when we were both six. We spent the next ten years pretending not to know each other at every birthday party, temple festival and family function.
We finally talked properly at a cousin’s wedding in 2022, and haven’t stopped since. Niroshan asked our parents first, then asked Tharsika on the Scarborough Bluffs at sunrise. Amma cried. Appa pretended he didn’t.

What time should we arrive for the Muhurtham?
By 8:45 AM, please. The thaali is tied within the Muhurtham, and we would love you to see it.
Is there parking at the kovil?
Yes, but it fills quickly. There is overflow parking at the plaza across Denison Street.
Are children welcome?
Of course. There will be a quiet room at the reception hall for little ones who need a rest.
